Actor Michale Gambon, Dies At the Age Of 82 Years

Sad news comes from England. Michale Gambon, who played Dumbledore in 6 Harry Potter films, has died at the age of 82. Quoting from Reuters, Michael Gambon died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.



This news was also conveyed directly by the family of the late actor who was born on October 19 1940. Gambon died accompanied by his beloved wife and family. It was also reported that Michale Gambon died after suffering from pneumonia.


"We are saddened to announce the passing of Sir Michael Gambon. Beloved husband and father, Michael rests peacefully in hospital with his wife, Anne, and son, Ferdus, by his side, due to pneumonia," read a statement from the family of the deceased, quoted by Reuters, Thursday. (28/9).

Apart from the family, sad news was also expressed by the Instagram account for the Harry Potter and Wizarding World films. They really felt they had lost a very kind-hearted figure.


"We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Michael Gambon. He brought immeasurable joy to Harry Potter fans around the world with his humor, kindness and blessings. We will forever hold his memory in our hearts," he wrote.


2. Career Journey


Michale John Gambon was born on October 19, 1950 in Dublin, Ireland. He started his career in acting by playing a role in a theater in the 60s. After that, he started acting in many films.


He played Dumblerdore, the headmaster of Howgwarts wizarding school in 6 Harry Potter films. Not only as Dumbledore, Michale Gabon is also known for his acting in the film The King's Speech as King George V and the film The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover in 1989.
